Explore the possibilities of corner to corner crochet, also called c2c crochet. We’ll learn the basics of working diagonally, including how to use box stitch to make a scarf, great for those gradient or cake yarns that are all the rage. Also we will learn the basics of colorwork, using box stitch to make two color designs. Using a simple heart design we’ll learn how to read a chart, change colors, carry unused yarn, and discuss how you can make your own charted designs.

Techniques covered will be basic box stitch, increasing and decreasing, and how to use multiple colors to create your own designs. Those who hate making long starting chains will be excited to know that you never have to make more than 6 chains with this technique!

This is a very versatile technique that can be applied to many applications. Perfect for making squares, rectangles, baby blankets and squares with custom designs.
