Knitting in one direction can be challenging in many techniques – bobbles, short rows and entralac to name just a few. Knowing how to knit from left to right will make knitting easier and more fun. Whether you knit English, Continental or have a style all your own you can, with a little practice, knit in both directions.

Skills required: Students must be able to cast on, knit, purl and bind off without supervision.

Bring to class: Worsted weight yarn, knitting needles in size 8 or 9 US. Needles can be straight or circular.
