Picots and bobbles are decorative techniques that add texture and dimension to your knitting. In this workshop we will explore several methods for creating picots including a picot cast-on, picot bind-off, and creating a folded hem with picot edging. We will also cover several techniques and tricks to create tidy, even bobbles.

The ability to knit and purl
Bring to Class:
- Approximately 100 yards of yarn in worsted weight or heavier. Choose a yarn with a smooth surface and avoid very dark colors.
- About a yard of yarn in a contrasting color (for a provisional cast on)
- A set of knitting needles in a size that matches your yarn. Bring either a set of double pointed needles (DPNs) or one set of straight or circular needles, plus one spare needle (a short circular needle or a single DPN)
- A crochet hook in a size that matches your yarn
- Tapestry needle
